Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) announced on July 15 that it will acquire Kyowa Pharma Chemical, an active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer owned by Kirin Holdings, to strengthen its CDMO business. DNP will acquire 100% of the shares in October, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition price is undisclosed.
