Hirata Corporation reported its consolidated results for the first quarter of fiscal year ending March 2027 (April-June 2026), with sales up 17.0% year-on-year to 25.883 billion yen and ordinary profit up 2.3 times to 3.822 billion yen, driven by strong wafer transfer equipment demand and price pass-through, while EV production equipment declined but cost reductions helped.
